The worst part was we waited over an hour for our food. We got served the appetizer at an appropriate time but then waited for an hour 15 for the main... Ordered scallops, came with 4, so not very many. Sauce was great, but they were slightly overcooked. Not bad, but not good. Got pastas and Cajun chicken. Pasta was ok, gnocchi sauce was good, but dough was mediocre. Chicken was a little dry but not bad. Main issue was the insane wait time. This was 1:15 pm on a Saturday. Got our food basically at 2:30.

Everything would be perfect for one but. The bill had sweet potatoes I never ordered. It came with a wonderful turkey sandwich. It looked like it was included but it was not. Everything else was great: the food was fantastic, fresh and with a twist. The service was amazing. The place is rather popular with locals, which is always a good sign. A come back for sure but with more attention to prices details

After driving by this restaurant for the past 5 years we finally decided to try it and they did not disappoint. Tried the Wagyu burger, Korean Cauliflower and Caesar salad. Not a fancy restaurant, but the food is wonderful. Clean inside, casual atmosphere with great service. Definitely will return to try other things from the menu!

First time eating there. Lobster roll was good, but the lobster Mac & cheese was on the bland side....needed salt and more garlic. Some of the interior lighting needs dusting. Service was great and food came out quickly. Overall a 4/5 stars

I love this place and we keep coming back! The food and staff are top notch. I’ve had several dishes and enjoyed them all, but I cannot stop ordering their Thai chicken wrap and sweet potato fries! For apps the mussels and Korean Cauliflower are always a hit ! Such a cozy vibe too

We booked dinner for Friday June 6th to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. She only turned 4, and we had our almost 2 year old as well so we were a bit nervous but the staff were fantastic. Debbie A was patient, sweet, and did a great job. The food was excellent! The kids ate up their food, and my husband and I had Lobsterfest meals which were phenomenal. Debbie brought a birthday candle in my daughter’s slice of cheesecake and many other restaurant diners sang along, it was so sweet. We love Forage and will be back again (next time without the kids!)

Welcome to Forage Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Orangeville, Ontario. Located at 163 First St, this charming eatery is rapidly gaining popularity among locals and visitors alike, thanks to its inviting atmosphere and a commitment to a delightful dining experience.

As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a casual yet clean ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. The décor is unpretentious, focusing on comfort rather than fancy frills. It's a place where you can truly relax and savor the food without distractions.

Forage Restaurant's menu celebrates the essence of seasonal ingredients, offering a variety of dishes that showcase creativity and flavor. Diners have praised their standout offerings, particularly during special events like the much-anticipated lobster fest. Customers have raved about the lobster bisque and lobster linguine, highlighting the quality and taste that makes these dishes unforgettable.

However, not all experiences have been flawless. A few diners have reported extended wait times for their main courses, along with some inconsistency in dish execution. For example, while the scallops are described as slightly overcooked, the accompanying sauce garnered high marks. Such critiques serve as a reminder that even bustling kitchens have their off days. Nevertheless, the overall feedback reflects a genuine appreciation for the restaurant's ambition and the fresh, flavorful food presented on their plates.

Among the more casual items, the Wagyu burger and Korean cauliflower have made their way into the hearts (and stomachs) of many. People are drawn to the simple yet impactful flavors that make every mouthful worth savoring. Even when certain aspects don’t hit the mark perfectly, like the need for more seasoning in the lobster mac & cheese, diners still find a lot to love about the experience. The combination of attentive service and community vibe makes it likely that you’ll become a regular visitor, just like many satisfied customers.

In conclusion, Forage Restaurant promises an engaging culinary journey with hints of local flair. Whether you’re enjoying a delightful turkey sandwich or exploring their pasta options, there's something for everyone. It’s a dining experience filled with heart, and it keeps customers coming back for more. Don't miss the chance to visit this trending establishment, where each dish tells a story and every meal is infused with care.
